Dear Students and Parents,
Friday Fundays continue this week with Room A parent Lisa Ogawa hosting with a fun Lava Lamp Experiment! Yes, it does sounds as exciting as you might imagine! Attached is the supplies list for this easy and exciting activity!
This year’s virtual Move-A-Thon begins on October 1 and will run through October 8, with a celebration on October 9. All students will be participating, and we encourage family members to join in as well. Sign-ups for family and friends will be on the ABS website. More fun details coming soon!
Happy first day of Fall to everyone! Otto is enjoying (Room A) Dylan’s art -- admiring the colors of the changing leaves in the tree that she created by tracing her own arm!

Estimados estudiantes y padres,Friday Fundays continúan esta semana con la madre de Room A, Lisa Ogawa, presentando un divertido Experimento de Lámpara de Lava. Sí, ¡suena tan emocionante como te imaginas!
El Move-A-Thon virtual de este año comienza el 1 de octubre y se extenderá hasta el 8 de octubre, con una celebración el 9 de octubre. Todos los estudiantes participarán y alentamos a los miembros de la familia a unirse también. Dear Students and Parents,
We have had so much fun this first week and are so happy to see you again! Special thanks to all the parents who joined the Zoom Meeting on Wednesday, we will plan to do this regularly!
Students, please join the Zoom Meeting with me today at 12:30.
We are happy to partner with StarVista for individual counseling services again this year. Parents and students - please let me know if it would be helpful to you to speak with someone about your thoughts and feelings. We have been working with StarVista for more than 8 years and certainly appreciate their excellent services.

Dear Students and Parents,
Happy Wednesday and I hope that your week is going terrific so far! The first week of school always has ups and downs, and At Home Learning makes it a bit tougher. I've had the chance to peek into every classroom's distance learning program and it's great to see your smiling faces!
A couple quick reminders: Friday is our minimum day, so please have lunch at 12 and then join me for a Zoom Student Meeting starting at 12:30 (I will send you a recurring invite).
Parents – we have our Zoom Parent Meeting today at 4:00. We will be discussing school-wide issues, so please save your student-specific questions for a conversation with your classroom teachers.
