Janet S. Buchwald, M.A. CCC

Jan is a speech and language pathologist with more than 30 years experience in the field of communication disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings, including schools and clinics, and has a private practice, Janet Buchwald & Associates. Jan was on the staff of the Children's Health Council and was consulting therapist to Associated Language and Learning Specialists and Stanbridge Academy for many years. She also has a Nonpublic Agency (NPA) called Children's Diagnostic Services.

Jan holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She is a member of CASHA (California Speech. Language, Hearing Association) and ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association), and is on the Board of Directors of Arbor Bay School, a K-8 school for children with learning differences.
