FAQ
Description
Arbor Bay School is licensed and certified by the state of California Department of Education as a Non-Public School. Arbor Bay School is a 501-3 non-profit organization.
Who attends ABS
Arbor Bay School is comprised of a blending of student populations who benefit from a small classroom environment and more sophisticated learning strategies and support. This includes children functioning at grade level who benefit from the small setting combined with students with mild to moderate learning difficulties.
Students may have a diagnosis of receptive-expressive language delay, dyslexia, auditory processing challenges, attention deficit, autism, asperger's, or they are gifted but benefit from the small classroom environment. The classes are blended in a way that facilitates students to actively engage with each other and with the learning process.
